Lisa Olivia Munn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kimberly Schmid lived in Vietnam and has Chinese roots, while Winston Barrett Munn's clan has origins deep within the American South. Olivia was just 2 years old when her parents divorced. She is now raised by her mom and stepfather. He is a United States Air Force soldier. Although the family was spread all over, her main residence is Tokyo, Japan. In Japan, she acted as an actor in local shows and eventually turned into an Japanese modeling model. After the family returned home to United States, Olivia moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. Olivia's acting career took off after a couple of minor roles. Olivia was cast in the role of Mily in the Hawaii-lensed series Beyond the Break (2005) and the receptionist role in the film Big Stan starring Rob Schneider in Big Stan (2006). She hosts the podcasts "Formula D", "The Daily Nut", and "The Daily Nut". Her love of surfing has been evident after the TV show Beyond the Break. The black belt she holds is taekwondo. In the year 2000, as she was two years old of age, her mother was married again. They have relocated many times but she was a majority of her youth in Tokyo Japan since that was the location where her father was stationed. Attending the University of Oklahoma where she was a journalist with minors in Japanese and dramatic art.
