Pickler was born Kellie dawn Pickler on June 28, 1986. The young woman had a troubled childhood. For the sake of leaving an abusive partner, Pickler's mother left when she was barely 2 years old. Pickler had her mother back within her family by the year 1995. She was the one who took charge of Pickler. However, it was not the best encounter. Pickler returned to her grandparents at 12. Her grandparents brought the girl into adulthood. Pickler was busy with raising her young children in absence of their parents. She stated that her time was not enough and that she had to learn how to take care of her family at a young age. Pickler took part in cheerleading teams at both her high school as well as middle school. North Stanly High School in 2004. Pickler was also a beauty contestant. She was crowned Miss Stanly Country.
