Ina-Garten
Ina Garten, an American author of cookbooks on cooking and Emmy Award-winning host for Food Network's longest-running program Barefoot Contessa that began airing in 2002 and will run for 27 seasons until 2020. Ina started her career as a writer in the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and policy papers. Ina initially enjoyed the intellectual challenge that came with her work, but she soon lost interest. In her place, she purchased Barefoot Contessa, a specialty store for food. The store was very successful for 18 years before she decided to sell it. After that, she started the first book. The other cookbooks came out, as were magazine articles. Another hit was her Food Network Television show. The range of products includes appliances for kitchens to ingredient and storage containers. Ina did not go to any cookery schools nor worked in a restaurant. She is entirely self-taught. Ina's easygoing style of entertaining and her easy cooking style are well known. Her most famous recipes are Lemon chicken skeillet-roasted, Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
